Variable subscription account will no longer be marked as ‘dormant’

Phone contract with EE, closed and last payment was 26th June 2018.
Experian notification at the weekend saying: "A variable subscription account will no longer be marked as ‘dormant’ on your December report."
Organisation Name: EE
Status: S
What does this mean?
This means that one of your accounts that was previously unused, has been used again. Maybe you didn’t pay with your credit card for a few months, and have recently started using it again.
I do not understand how this has been used again, when I login to the EE portal it shows "Your account has been closed".
Any advice/thoughts please?

It means EE haven't reported the account as closed, and where it's had no activity reported for some time, it's now marked as dormant.
I had the same issue, and an email to EE's credit team resolved it within 48 hours and they backdated the close date etc.

Thanks, that would make sense, however the wording seems to indicate " account will no longer be marked as ‘dormant’ - not that it is now dormant?0
