ESA and IS can't be claimed at the same time.0

I receive Carer's Allowance and Income Support. A carer premium is added to my IS, then the amount of CA is deducted. I receive £64 CA per week, and £45 IS per week (paid fortnightly).0

I think the CA will only be paid separately if the ESA is entirely income based. If the ESA is entirely or partly contribution based it will be paid in preference to the CA (because the contributory benefit will be paid in preference to the non contributory benefit).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
So, you cant get ESA and IS what about ESA and carer premium?0
