Barclaycard with blue rewards

Interesting, -and puzzling. The branch told me it's a special card which you have to apply for through Blue Rewards, so obviously you'd need to have Blue Rewards set up before you apply. But in that case you'd always get the full 24 months cashback. If you can apply for a Barclaycard first and join Blue Rewards later, it suggests you can convert an ordinary Barclaycard to a Blue Rewards card.
If an ordinary Barclaycard is converted to a Blue Rewards card that could explain lack of a card with that name. If that is the case it would be helpful if the website made it clear and staff were aware of this!0 -

It's double rewards if you switch to Barclays before 14th November so doubly rich
Had I realised how much time it was going to take working out which card to apply for I certainly wouldn't have considered applying.0 -

Just to update this thread in case anyone else searches for the answer. I finally heard from Barclays yesterday in response to my letter and it seems the blue rewards credit card was discontinued in November and the website will be updated to remove references to it0

I have a Barclaycard Platinum Visa card which is 29 months 0% BT and 6 months 0% purchases promotional. No Blue Rewards, never been offered Blue Rewards and not in my online account.
According to Barclays, Blue Rewards is applied to a current account. Maybe then it can be applied to a Barclaycard Platinum. Who knows? ROFL
But as far as I know the Barclaycard Platinum with Blue rewards has a default APR of 21.9% the same as Barclaycard Platinum with Cashback Plus whereas the regular Barclaycard Platinum has a default APR of 19.9%.
I'm wondering if Cashback Plus replaced Blue Rewards in purchase credit cards.

They've also withdrawn the Freedom Rewards Credit Card as well0
