Tax Credit

I have just written my complaint to the House of Commons so that the Ombudsman can deal with my case.
I called the Tax office and wrote in August 2005 to say my daughter was going to her nans for one year. They said that they would stop payment. I have called must be 11 times. They still pay me and thats okay for a while but they say they cannot stop paying me but at some stage I will have to pay it back. I have for the last 10 months put the money in a separate account.
Well today I located on the Inland Revenue website their codes of practice which said I could speak to a manager/director. I tried twice and notwithstanding I had made a complaint they still treat me as a query so I have to wait 48 hours. Their codes of practice also says that if I suffer from worry or distress then they may compensate me. I have been terrible about it lately because they wont consider an application for when my daughter returns in two weeks time until they stop paying me. I will not be able to cope with this at all. I complained to thephone line and no answer. I just feel terribly upset about the fact that I cannot get a response to my complaint.
Well its up to the Parliamentary Ombudsman now!!

All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]
