Brockwell park had 3,000 people enjoying the sunshine on more than one sunny weekend throughout lockdown.
Sugarbaby - I have told you before that I lived near to Brockwell park as a kid. I lived there during the riot of 1981. I remember seeing the crowds and the fights with the protesters and the police.

It is sad that society is still racist, even though I do think Britain is on the whole fairly tolerant, compared to the US particularly. My first two boyfriends were mixed race and we used to get some stares and comments from people on the street back then.

My brothers last girlfriend was an Asian Muslim and she got a ridiculous amount of verbal abuse on the streets. Shocking. :( We have a long way to go as human beings.

Anyway champagne moments. I was remembering one of my boyfriends from when I was a teenager. He was gorgeous. He looked like a young Will Smith. <3 I wonder what he is up to now... :D

I am wearing a deep pink Warehouse blouse today as I was going to donate it but my husband said it looks nice on me so I will keep it.

I had a long, hot shower and did a hair treatment earlier. It was nice and relaxing. I'm actually not minding the cooler weather as I don't really like hot weather. I'm just listening to music on YouTube. NERD at the moment. :)

Hear hear Sugarbaby.  That was a very eloquent post.  My son went to the London protest.  All the photos he took show people wearing masks, and he did not see any violence (he was in Parliament Square), only some shouting at the police.  He said the way they handled it was amazing compared to the reports we have of police in the US charging demonstrators and using teargas.
