Selling car with integral motor scooter

My father in law had a top of the range motor scooter fitted in his car - ramps come out of the boot and it glides in and out via remote control. A year on, he has sadly passed away and we have been trying without any luck to sell the motor scooter and ramp kit. It looks like we will have to try to sell the car with the scooter included.

We have been round a few dealerships who say they would take it off our hands but all say they would get in touch with a specialist dealer and pass it on to them. It seems a lot more sensible for us to try to sell to the specialist dealer ourselves but despite searching online we can only find places that sell 'WAVs' (wheelchair accessible vehicles) which this isn't. Does anyone on here have any idea where we could try? Alternative would seem to be to list it ourselves on Gumtree or similar, but tbh I'm nervous of scams.

Google adapted vehicles for sale. Those will be the dealers.

Possibly smaller dealers that buy cheap and sell high. Market wont be huge so he maybe stuck with the vehicle for some time.

Remove the kit and sell it as standard.

By "motor scooter", do you mean a Vespa style small motorcycle? Or do you mean a mobility buggy for the elderly/disabled?

Sorry, should have said 'mobility scooter', definitely not a Vespa!
