Worcester boiler Eco mode

We have recently moved into an apartment which has a Worcester Greenstar 30Si compact condensing boiler installed. Fortunately, we haven’t needed the heating on up to now and just left the frost protection on, but decided we would like the radiators on last night.
I turned off the frost protection on the RF and went to turn up the heating setting on the boiler. Whatever temperature I selected, the display reverted to ECO and a lower temperature.
I looked at the manual but cannot find anywhere to turn off or override the ECO setting.
The water settings are fine and we are getting hot water but are unable to get the radiators on beyond a slight warmth.
Can anyone help please?

I think ECO only applies to pre heating / or not the hot water.
Are you sure the RF is set correctly - wack it up to 30 degree to see if the boiler fires continuously...

Thanks. That worked!
(Still not sure why we cannot turn up the heating dial without it showing ECO and a lower temperature.)0 -
A further problem!
Last evening, I noticed some of the radiators were warm even though the RF did not show the flashing symbol, indicating the heating was on. In fact, the room temperature where the RF sits was higher than the required ON level.
After we came to bed, the boiler kept starting up although the RF showed ‘5’, which should be off (set the same as’4’). The light came on at the front of the boiler and it started and stopped several times before we finally fell asleep - so don’t know when it finally went off!. We could find nothing wrong with the RF settings.
This has not happened before since we moved here.
We have a boiler service arranged for next week but wonder if we can sort out this problem - we don’t need the boiler on during the night.0 -
Well in to November, and you havent needed the heating on yet? Must be a warm place!0

Yes it is! We get any sun all day. At the moment, it’s shining brightly. Certainly don’t need the heating, even here ‘up north’.0
