MET make the Grauniad.

The most ridiculous fine in the U.K.

Shockingly there is advice to ignore it. When will they learn?

Never mind, it is all grist to the mill.

I thought that the Grauniad had a down on people who could afford to own cars.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Sorry Waamo, your post had gone to page 2.

Why not make your title more dynamic and eye catching

MET Parking -- Stansted -- the scam -- a BPA approved member

I actually saw this last Sunday collecting someone from the airport.

MET has split the car park between two outlets and then slap you with a £60 charge depending if you are on the Mcdonalds side or Starbucks ?

No wonder why both Mcdonalds or Starbucks will not comment.

Wonder what has happened to the BPA's "driving up standards"

    Reading the Guardian article ....

"Money asked Nick McAleenan, a partner at JMW Solicitors, which represents MET, what would happen if a customer entered one restaurant on the site and then decided to eat in the other, would they be expected to move their car? No explanation was offered."

He would be no good in court then ???

You could not make this up :rotfl:

An absolute scam, as we all know, and easy enough to beat. I see the Mail mentioned this forum, albeit they wrongly said our advice is that a PPC ''cannot'' issue a PCN after 14 days and that these could then be ignored.

No, they can be appealed by the registered keeper without saying who was driving.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think you mean the Grauniad.

Fortunately there is a keyboard warrior who has posted there under the username of Thefruityone to correct some of the mistooks quoted in the article. ;)
