LV new vandalism NCD protection.

Hi there. Does anyone know if this new feature from LV, where they will not reduce your NCD if you claim on your car insurance due to vandalism, has been applied to all fully comprehensive policies at the same time or whether it only comes into effect on renewal / new policy? I did call them however the person I spoke to didn't convince me that they confidently knew the answer. Thanks in advance.
