Hello,
I checked my credit report with check my file .com and it said experian came up saying I have a ccj but when I looked into it more it's actually my dad's ccj at the same address, it's made my score very poor so does any one have any suggestions on how to get it taken off?
Thanks

Contact the courts and tell them it’s not yours.
Do you share the same forenames?0 -
My middle name is the same as his dad 0

The courts report to the trust register, contact the CRA especially if its only one CRA they have attached it to the wrong person0

Is there anyway I could get compensation because it's lowered my credit score and I'm saving for a house and I won't get a mortgage now ?0

So that's your real question - "How much can I make out of this"?
It's a mistake, once it's corrected why won't you get a mortgage?
Typical moneygrabbing "compo" post on MSE nowadays.0 -
I was only wondering calm down sweetheart 😂😂hahaha0

No. Your credit score is a fictional number that isn't used in assessing you for credit. It would be like getting compensation for a lack of unicorns.
Once the error is corrected, your credit file will be an accurate reflection.0
