Sky 18 Month Contract

I was recently (August) going to move house and called Sky who assured me everything would go swimmingly well. Shortly before the move it fell through so we stayed where we were, I called Sky to advise and they said they'd amend it. Which they never did. I was persuaded to take out a new 18 month contract with them at the same time. My question is, as they did not change my address, is this a breach of contract in any way? If not, then fine I appreciate I'm tied to it but if not I'd be delighted to get out of it.

No it's not. You agreed a new 18m contract. Quite why you did that before exchange is a mystery, but it's not Sky's fault that the move did not go ahead.
If you do move in the next 15m then ask Sky for a 'home move', which is FOC but usually requires a new minimum term in return. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Not true, I moved both TV and BB this year and have since left the BB entirely.0
