Lloyds bank gold card account

Hello,
Can I claim back bank charges on my Lloyds bank gold account?
I was being charged £25 a month which included holiday and mobile phone insurance and for the AA.
I was severely overdrawn, so as well as charging me for using this Gold account I was also paying interest for my overdraft.
I was never in the black always overdrawn so As you can imagine it was a very hard time for me.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards

Sounds like this was in the past not present? Are you currently suffering financial hardship?I was being charged £25 a month0 -
No you can't claim back charges, but you can make a complaint about te packaged account fees.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

You could certainly complain that you didn't need or want the extras provided by the account. However, you'll need to show that you never claimed on any of the insurances and that you never had reason to call out the AA for your car. If you can do this, you may get back the fees you paid for the account.Cromwell31 wrote: »Can I claim back bank charges on my Lloyds bank gold account?
Historical charges for going overdrawn are not refundable regardless of your financial situation at the time. If you want a refund of (recent) bank charges, you'd have to show that you are CURRENTLY in the bank's definition of financial hardship.Cromwell31 wrote: »I was severely overdrawn, so as well as charging me for using this Gold account I was also paying interest for my overdraft.0
