The tills inside the stores are set to beep and not to let the free gift go through if you are buying No 7 gift sets (either alone or under a 3-for-2 green parcel deal).
When the gift came out all of the advertising for the free gift states that the gift sets are excluded.
You can of course say that this stipulation should not apply in store because it does not apply online and try and get a gift that way but it is not automatic. The odd sales assistant might put it through but the tills are set not to take it!
I wouldn't d-r-e-a-m of threatening the ASA because the catalogue doesn't mention anything! BOOTS IS OUR FRIEND !
It IS a glitch on the website - even the big adverts for the gift in the the papers today clearly state 3 for 2 and gift sets ARE excluded but the website is still giving them - be thankful for small mercies.
BOOTS.COM are tightening up on glitches within hours of them being discovered.....remember the 3-for-2 and 1500 points last week ?0 -
Does anyone know if the Britney Spears 30ml curious is still on offer for £9.95 - trying to get enough points for a free one!0

Hi, I'm new to the Boots thread. Just to let you know I checked the kiosk and my offers are:
100 points on No7 Dream lash Mascara and any product from the NEW botanics Oraganic range
Save £2 on No7 highlights illuminating powder
And use code KCAK23 at boots.com to add 250 points if you spend £65 or more.
Another voucher to get a free T&G mini even though I used mine last week...not complaining!
Hope that helps someone and I'm not repeating old hat to you all0 -
Sorry is advance, but I have only just stumbled upon this thread and have been reading the last few pages with interest - great thread!
Anyway, i signed up to the Parenting Club and have the 500 olay effects voucher and managed to get a magazine in store the other day which has the 300 points olay voucher.
You all know the question that is coming - can I use both vouchers together AND Do I have to buy the Olay products to get the points?
I'm sorry for asking what will prob be an obvious question and has prob been answered 50 times already but I don't have time to read through all the pages!!Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0 -

If you buy the Total Effects Cloth Masks then you can use both vouchers on it. HTH"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. Does anyone know what time of day Boots update their website with new stock? I am after a camera that is out of stock, with new stock coming soon and wondered what time of day is best to check to see when new stock is available.

I think I might be the first person who posted the success of getting 3,000 points with Dreamland offer here. See my post in post no. 595. However, I copied it here for easy reading.
Hi
I am slowly getting the hang of this butttttttttttttttttttt ok I have the one from the magazine I have been in Boots several times lately but not had any from the machines. What do you do when you put your cards in the machine any tips? I do not even know if I am doing it right. The other coupon for 100 points where does that come from please? Does anyone have either of these other ones they do not want. I have a couple of the magazine ones. Also I had a coupon for 2000 points on an expensive electric tooth brush that my dentist recommended arggggggggh I wanted to buy it on xmas shopping night but I have lost it. Does anyone have one that they would not use. I will gladly pay for postage? I hope I find it in the meantime I had lots of coupons in an enveope for the last xmas shop and now I cant find them arghhhhhhh again. I have pampers ones that I dont want and double baby ones and I did have some bottle ones and photograph ones too. If I am not allowed to share or ask for some will someone please tell me why. If I offend in any way I apologise.. Taffy
