i phoned boots to see if they where getting anymoe ds's soon and they said no. i also asked what day the online sale will start. she said boxing day!!! cant wait
I was told by a friend that it started online on the 20th Dec, although anything bought from this day onwards will not be delivered until after christmas, probably the new year. I'm seeing her again tomorrow evening so i'll ask her again to make sure. I wonder if the person you spoke to on the phone is getting online sale mixed up with the store's sale, which I would imagine would start boxing day0 -
I just saw this one today and it looks really nice. However, on closer inspection, I think it said something like wash bag or something to do with wash (?) below the brand. It put me off from buying it for myself and offering the toiletries to my OH.
Perhaps someone who bought one can confirm what it says, but look carefully before buying.0 -

My sister in law bought me a gift that I don't want, I phoned Customer Services and they said it can be exchanged no problem. Only problem is I had bought the same gift for my aunt, who has happily winged it back to her holiday home in Spain with hers, but I bought it when it was reduced and I think it is now back up in price, I was ill thinking that they'd be able to see the one I bought and think it was the same one, yip, I'm an absolute coward when it comes to returning things!
While I'm on a roll though, I have my eye on something a bit more expensive, can I use my advantage card and get points and will they give it for the extra spend or the whole transaction, I know my sister in law didn't get the points, because she doesn't even have a card!
Will the computer recognise this or how does it work?
Gawd, I really do hate returning things, I'm definitely a wimp!
How was your exchange chicobubba?
I'm also thinking of returning a gift a friend gave me. I really don't want it. However it is on 342 at the moment. So I was just wondering what I should do...0 -

Not the label... below where it says Ted Barker in the front of the case, there is a "bodywear", wash-something mention, isn't there?0 -

sorry...totally misunderstood you
On the front of the bag it has a blue rectangular label which clearly says in white on blue background TED BAKER LONDON and then stitched in under that (quite subtle though) it has a fancy decoration and then says BODYWEAR
.......but it is very subtle - the stitching colour being a couple of shades lighter than the bag. To be honest I don't have a problem with it. The bag is fab value for £10.66 each (which is what I paid....based on an order of over £70 so I got 10% discount then used a 10% discount code and got free delivery........so 3 of these were £40 (on 3 4 2) less 10% = £36, less 10% of original value = £32 and divided by 3 = £10.66
See I can convince myself I got a bargain:rotfl:and lose DH in the maths at the same time
(and that's without confusing him by trying to explain the value of points, which really means they were even less than that)0 -
Talk about gutted - I went shopping with DS at the weekend and he spent over £200 on Benefit stuff for his fiance. I tried to get him to buy the stuff from Boots so I could get the points (lots of separate transactions so I could get 500 points for each two items he bought, but we couldn't find it in Boots shops - only online....and they didn't have the selection he wanted so he got it all in House of Fraser. Typical!0

Thank for checking this. I really fancy the bag, but the "bodywear" think was totally unnecessary... though clothes are bodywear, so a laptop bag is bodywear.
The half price offer is on until Wednesday? I think I'll look at it again tomorrow. :rolleyes:0 -
