Glad it worked for you Cupcake but it didnt for me, didnt even go through on 342 she said that £29.97 please, i said oops i've forgot my debit card.

I wonder why this doesn't work for all Boots you would have thought all their tills would have been updated for the new offers the same. Do you think this is something to do with the new till systems they had when they changed hands recently? Are there still some old tills out there? Is it the old or new ones we should be looking out for? Anyone any ideas.

    Hi Jan03

I tried something similar to this today, got £10 worth of baby stuff and tried both vouchers thinking the till may add up the £10 and let me have the 500 points for £5 worth of good. BUT..... boots baby lotion at £2.89 was on an unadvertised bogof, else i'd have got 4 instead of 2. Good news is got 500 points, bad news is baby stuff wasn't half price. i used so many coupons I didn't like to make a fuss and ask for the half price one back :o

Thanks, what i ment was- get £20 worth of Boots baby range, use half price voucher= £10 then 500 points on a £10 spend?

I went into boots today to topup my dads mobile with a £5 and my advantage card in my hand hoping to get a haircare voucher but ended up spending £25.44 oon my debit card-Feel terrible now as I should really be saving for new home stuff that I really need -After the 75% sale I am going to wean myself off boots (erm no- not until the 90% off sale) But this is what I got
Ruby & millie mettalics eye kit was £20 reduced to £12.50 because the brush was missing-
ruby &milllie eye smudge brush £4.50
    bodyform pack with tin
    Bogof boots tissues
    plasters
    handwash
£5 topup.I only got the bonus points for ruby&millie and then 64 points for the remainder -the bodyform were a bargain as had a 40p off coupon so really 59p which is good.I suppose I can justify the ruby&millie items as I have wanted them for ages and I have saved money in a way and got 500points back.Im feeling really guiity about bootsing today.
    Love can tame the wildest

I can't see why it shouldn't work. ;) As long as it's £10 after BOGOFs, the extra points should go through.

sorry jan03, i'm really terribly pants at this posting thing but yeah, should definitely work as 1. you'll have paid £10 to get 500 points and 2. you'll have paid £20 to get it half price to £10. the points definitely worked on £10 worth of items before bogof, it's just that the half price voucher wouldn't work on less than £10 worth so don't see why both shouldn't work on £20 worth :o HTH I did try it on baby clothes through the week and SA wouldn't take it as said clothes were from external supplier, double cecked and colleague siad I would have to use it on baby shampoo/lotion, nappies etc
Student loan no more ;) paid off

I have £21 in points pending from a boots.com order that I need to collect, but every time I go in the machine in Dundee isn't working. i desperately need to use my points to pay for a couple of presents (especially as somewhere in town today I managed to lose a bag with £25 worth of presentes in it!!!) - is there any other way i can get access to them?

Another Dundonian here, and yes the machine has been out of order for weeks now with no sign of it being sorted.

The chances are you have the points already, and what to do, is do a test purchase if you can with something cheap and see if the points are showing on the bottom of your receipt, or ask the girls (like the No 7 girls as they are always really helpful with me) to see if they can do a points balance for you manually on the till.

I feel as I'm really missing out with the machine not working - I want to try my son's card again which he has had for near on a year, and still no offers but competitions!

I tried using a half price expert baby skin care voucher earlier this week on several products, the half price only came off on one product, not all of them as I had assumed, was this the problem with your attempt today?
