its the sunderland store. most of the staff have worked their for centuries and if a voucher wont go through they seem to think the till is robbing you and put anything in manually. its a great store for getting reduced things too.

any one in the northeast post here?
what has happened to the mero centre stores reduced corner. i got a lipstick for 20p a few weeks ago but the section with reduced things has disappeared.

I'm from the NE too!! :hello: I can be mostly found in the Durham branch, but have been known to frequent (lots of) others too!! Never been in the Sunderland one though, will have to give it a try!!

    had a good shop today.
    i got...
    boots throat drops bogof
    panadol tabs free heat patch
    free vit c tabs
    olay face masks
    mouthwash
    no7 dream lash mascara

    total £27.01

used acm voucher 100 on no7 dream lash
250 points when you buy any no7
50 points on mouthwash from mag
    300 on olay from mag
    500 on olay from parenting
    plus triple points 24
was quite inpressed except i get nervous when using the parenting ones so i have to stick my stomach out and pat it lol.
the 250 on no7 from the last gwp wouldnt scan but the nice man on the phamacy said he would add it on anyway for me as didnt know why it was scanning. he did have to ask me is mascara was a cosmetic though. :rotfl:
i didnt see any gwp for olay or o'lereal (sp) in the sheffield crystal peaks one.

No7 SA in Worksop wouldn't let me use 250points on No7 as triple points were on said not to be used with any other offer!

So to her, that would mean that all offers were off if triple points were on - including 342 etc. Silly woman I would have left it and gone to another till!!

I spent (49.00 on mattress cover but going to take it back for blanket) 39.00 and 38.00 on braun toothbrush. I used 1.00 off healthcare x 2. So was 75.00. Got 3000 points for blanket, 2000 points for toothbrush. 1000 points for xmas night and an extra 500 because I went to the xmas night last month. Used a double coupon on my normal spend which was 600 points I think. So 7100 on a 75.00 spend. I spent lots more but it complicates things. So do I win lol?

    :T :T Absolutely!!!!!!!

Just had a great shop online.

    Bought 3 x £20 on 342 = £40

Then needed to spend another £10...so decided to take advantage of the "spend £10 get 200 points on selected items"....so had a look at all the essentials they were offering. Had £3.49 in my basket and then 2 lots of "buy 2 cotton wool for £2" ....and the 200 points had kicked in (but I had only spend ££4+£3.49 =£7.49 and the offer is to spend over £10)...so a good while later after trying lots of things I realised that the "till" sees the value of the goods before the offer.
Ie. 2 cotton wool face pads @ £1.69 each = £3.38 (only charges £2) but reads on the till at full value... so if you get 6 cotton wool face pads @ £2 each = TOTAL £6 you get the 200 points because the till sees it as over £10.

(i mean till as in online till not sure about instore!)

So total basket ended up being:

    3 x £20 on 342 = £40
    14 x cotton wool pads = £14
    triple points
    £10 off 50 spend code

= £43 spend and £10.33 back in points!!

    very happy! :T

Hi can you point me in the right direction for the code ? Used the search faciltiy but it keeps failing x

Still got 4 odd haircare vouchers, dunno what to use them on as funds are mega tight :/

I know what you mean. I have 3 to use. I hope my sister or mums card has the free mini when you buy a full size T&G item as my adantage card won't give me more than 3 which I have used.
