PC World Insurance

I have just been going through my bank statement in detail and came across an entry for £7.50 for PC world. On investigation this relates to an insurance/support package I took out when I bought a PC in 2006. The PC was obsolete in 2010 when I bought a replacement and I recall contacting PC world at the time to cancel the policy but I have no record of that.

On checking bank statements I have been paying this every month for all that time. Whilst it is remiss of me not to have noticed this regular payment, I have never received any letters relating to the policy and I should add I have not changed my address.

Just wondering where I stand in attempting to reclaim this money ?

In future, always cancel the direct debit instruction with your bank when you cancel it with the party whose service you are cancelling.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
