Mr dynarod has now left, the loo flushes:j but it takes 4-5 minutes to fill between flushes:mad: . Apparantly we have a kinked flexi hose  that needs replacing and is not covered on British Gas home service insurance. Need to get in touch with our original plumber (if we can) and give him yet another earbending. SInce he replaced our toilets and bathrooms, we have had - 2 leaks, 2 water pressure problems, leaking towel radiator, has not sealed in the kitchen sink and a non-flushing toilet I'm just waiting for the next thing to go wrong. The plumber and dynarod have both said a lot of his work was bodged, we have tried to report him to trading standards but they weren't interested. We phone him up and he promises to come and sort it out then never appears, we've lost count the number of times he has done that. In the end we have paid a plumber to do some of the work (£76.80) , the rest has been covered by British Gas home service. He is a useless t$%*. OH has told him he is going to his home tonight to collect the £76.80 we have paid out and he promised to reimburse (we've kept his texts saying he will do so.)

Just waiting for the next plumbing thing to go wrong...........

We're over the hump of the working week, and it's downhill all the way to the weekend.....
(for us "lucky" enough to be in work that is, don't know what people in non-paid work would call it, or people like I_A who work Sats.....)
  • :coffee: Good afternoon everyone.
I think it's time for a cuppa. Are you going to join me?
And then...when I've had a little sit down and a chat...will someone tell me to go and do some housework!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Just finished on Bingo - through quidco £40 cashback for £30 deposit - lost £10 of this so will be in profit by £30 (all quidco) when it gets to me.

That's me done for Bingo, I'm just not meant to win:o

My Mum used to look like Nana Mouskouri in the early 1970s........

Well, my Mum and Dad have headed back north today. They bought me some lovely chunks of Lush soap yesterday - luvverly.

Had a free lunch today - 2 crumpets and butter arrived from Kerrygold from a leaflet in the paper and I had a sample bag of Salt and Vinegar Snack a Jacks delivered in the post! They were very crushed by the postman, but they still tasted just as good!!!

    Hi All

Sorry for butting in but I have a question! I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that there is due to be another DFW meet in Birmingham in January, but can’t remember which thread I read it on (blushes furiously). Does anyone know and is there a separate thread for it? (Sorry – I know that’s 2 questions!)

I don't think anything is definite yet Piggin, Sammy was thinking of organising something but I don't know whether she's started thinking of dates/venues yet.
