...unless you already have a large amount with B&B...
ASDA Internet Savings is provided by Bradford & Bingley plc, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA reg no 106126).
The rate also includes a 0.6% bonus for 12 months.

    Minimum £100 to open

Can only transfer out to 1 nominated account

Payments in are by direct debit

If balance drops below £100, a nominal rate of interest is paid. The T&Cs refer to an interest rate table, which I couldn't find!
  • interestingly its run by the ex 6.4% aer B&B
  • Is this like Sainsbury's though which is HBOS but not HBOS when it comes to the £35,000 or are they the exact same?
Noobie (not so :D) trying to make loads a dosh - please bear with all my questions  Thanks :D

Looks like the 6.35% is only for 12 months after which, it will drop 0.6%.

Although it sounds like you have one nominated account for paying in, and one nominated account for withdrawals. The T&Cs say these are one and the same account.

Can't withdraw against deposited funds for 6 working days.

So, only an extra 0.1%, and nowhere near as simple and flexible as the Sainsbury's account. It's not "floating my boat".
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
