How to 'clean' gravel on garden

Options
We layed some lovely gravel down in front garden, it is not walked on, however its gone quite dull now.. (matter of a week actually) from golden to dusky brown...
Is there anyway we can get them back to their original colour? Please note: We dont have a pressure washer
Thank You in advanced

  • If there are no plants in the gravel try a bleach or jeyes fluid solution and water liberally onto the gravel.

It's gravel, it's outside, it's going to get dirty. Don't worry about it.

It may go dull, but not in a week.

not unless it was wet and now it's dry.

Can't be dry if you live near me :D
  • I bet you didn't buy the self cleaning gravel did you. I made that mistake once . .

Have you thought of bagging it up and putting in the washing machine?

Unbelievable, who on earth is going to do that?

Everyone knows it's far better to just fill the kitchen sink a few times so they can be polished individually to get them sparkling.
  • We dont have a pressure washer
    Which is just as well,
Honestly, that would make a right mess.

Don't! You'd be amazed what I've got out the bottom of a washing machine.
