Recently my son been to Liverpool , Seel street for a movie. He parked there for two hours and overstayed a minute, he got notice for £100/£60 notice. Can I able to appeal and win this, as per BPA rules 13.1 there is grace period of 10 minutes. This is ridiculous for one minute so much penalty. Can somebody advice me how to proceed?

Read through the guide on the parking subforum. It tells [STRIKE]you[/STRIKE] him exactly what to do.

If you spend time on the parking sub forum you will see it's a common occurrence.

Fair enough; I must've just been lucky over the years when I've left a couple of minutes late on occasions.

There is supposed to be a grace period of at least ten minutes. The amount of operators that ignore this is ridiculous.

Yes and Parking Eye in particular seem particularly prone to issuing these de-minimis parking notices.
