Anyone know how you're suppoed to contact the RAC at the moment?

Tried to call them at the end of Oct, no answer after a 20/30 minutes on hold every day for a week.

Sent them a message through their site saying I don't want to renew and had a response that they'll contact me within 5 days.... That was Oct 21th... Heard nothing so far.

Just tried to call again, and their system is saying the wait on hold with be an hour + and to message them through their site and they'll reply within 5 days!! Yeah, right...

Seems there in no way to contact them at all unless you've broken down (and the agents on that number either won't transfer you, or just drop you in the one hour wait line).

Can anyone suggest how to stop them renewing? It's due on the 11th and is done via a dept card. Can the bank block the transaction??

You can cancel a direct debit at your bank. It may work if the bank is awake.

It's not on a DD it's on a debt card, so unless I can contact them it'll go through...
