Capital One PPI Help

I have gone thru a PPI company to see if I had any ppi with cap one and had a email from the company that cap one had confirmed I did have ppi with them.
I got the relevant forms from them and returned them, then last week I got an email with a letter attached from cap one saying I had paid ppi but I was not due any refund but I would be getting a payment under Plevin.
Another email from the ppi company arrived saying my cheque was on its way and then today an email from the ppi company saying cap one had advised them I didn’t have PPI on the credit card and the case is now closed!!!!
Does this sound right? I don’t quite know what to do now 😞

  • Bank the cheque and keep the relevant percentage back to pay the claims company.

The cheque won't have been "stopped".

Understand that your PPI complaint failed.

You are only going to receive a refund of the undisclosed commission.

However, the Claim firm will still require their percentage of your refund, so don't be tempted to spend this since you'll be hearing from them sooner or later.
