M6 Toll Card Payments

Just a post for people using the M6 toll road who've paid using their debit/credit cards.

I recently used the toll road and paid using my debit card in one of the machines, I drove away assuming I'd been charged the correct amount for a car, it wasn't until I was checking my bank statement a few weeks later that I noticed I'd been charged the cost of a HGV.

I was refunded the difference when I complained. But it might be worth checking if you've driven through and paid by card in case the same has happened to you...

It's happened to me a couple of times, they just need to know your reg number & approximate time then they check the cctv & refund the difference.
