This is a Hits Radio Network Competition, running across the following radio stations: - CFM - Free Radio - Hallam FM - Hits Radio - Metro Radio - Radio Aire - Radio City - Rock FM - TFM - Viking FM

After the end of the news bulletin broadcast on all participating stations, at 8am each weekday, the presenters will reveal that day’s cash register amount (“Prize Amount”) in pounds and pence. The Prize amount may also be advertised at other times and through other channels.

If anybody listening to the radio at 8am on weekdays can post the prize amount below that would be fantastic.

You can enter 6 times each day - ENTRY FORM

Monday's Draw - closes at 3:00pm on Monday.
Tuesday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Monday, closes at 3:00pm Tuesday
Wednesday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Tuesday, closes at 3:00pm Wednesday
Thursday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Wednesday, closes at 3:00pm Thursday
Friday’s Draw – Opens at 3:10pm Thursday, closes at 3:00pm Friday

The daily draws will take place each weekday between 3:00pm & 4:00pm. A member of the radio team will randomly select (from all registered entrants) a chosen number to call. The entrant must answer the phone within 5 rings according to the stations audio recording (“ring ring” being one ring, not two). The entrant will be asked to play the Competition as soon as they answer the phone. If they are not in a position to play for any reason (e.g. not answering phone, driving, or in a meeting) then they will not be able to play and another entrant will be called during that particular draw.

If the entrant answers their phone in time, wishes to play (and is eligible to play), they will be asked to state the Prize Amount. If they give the correct number of pounds and pence of that day’s Prize Amount then they will win that Prize.

I can't find this weeks comp anywhere online, but they've announced a Prize amount for Monday.
I'm assuming everything else is the same as last week.

Entries will close at the stated close time for each draw. All valid entries will then be pooled, and one entry will be selected by automated random draw.

To be eligible to win, the entrant must answer the phone within 5 rings according to the stations audio recording (“ring ring” being one ring, not two). The entrant will be asked to play the Competition as soon as they answer the phone. If they are not in a position to play for any reason (e.g. not answering phone, driving, or in a meeting) then they will not be able to play and another entrant will be called during that particular draw.

Should the entrant:

• fail to answer the phone at all; or
• fail to answer the phone within five rings (according to the station’s audio); or
• give the incorrect Prize Amount; or
• fail to say anything at all

they will not win the Prize.

The presenter will take the first answer given by the entrant as the one and only answer.

If there are no words spoken (according to the studio’s audio recording), the call goes to voicemail. Even if the pre-recorded voicemail messages starts with the correct Prize Amount this will be judged as a failure to answer and the Prize will not be awarded. The answer given must be clearly audible to presenters and adjudicators and audible on the studio’s audio recording. If this is unclear or inaudible due to a poor signal or any other reason, entrants are ineligible to win. If entrants appear in the judgement of the presenters and/or adjudicators to be driving illegally, they will not be eligible to win. Where there is any doubt in relation to whether or not an entrant has given the correct Prize Amount or the prize should be awarded, we reserve the right to defer decision making to an off-air adjudicator to check the audio recording with reference to these terms and conditions. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.

If no winner is declared, all entrants from the completed draw, and any other previous draws, where no winner was declared, will automatically be eligible for the next daily draw. For clarity, they will automatically be entered in to the next draw that takes place after 3:00pm the following weekday. A new Prize Amount may be announced for the next draw. This will be done in line with these terms and conditions.


I assume this is available to soft southerners as these northern radio stations can be listened to on-line?

Both Viking and Aire are nothern so not sure what you mean

I live in the south and could listen via internet.

Hits Radio (formerly Key 103) is on a load of local DAB multiplexes across the country so it shouldn't be a problem to enter.
