Refund of deposit paid over the phone

I've had an interesting day; been ignored, been fobbed off, been hung up on, been told this is a generic contract and that it doesn't actually mean what it says (yes, really!)

I've basically told them I'm not comfortable with the terms and conditions and that had I seen the paperwork in person I'd have walked away. I've told them I'm entitled to a full refund as the transaction was not done face to face.

The salesman has tried various tactics to keep hold of my £100 but I've stood my ground and said I want a refund. Been told it will be refunded to my credit card within 3-5 days. In all honesty, I'm expecting I'll have to chase it but we shall see.

What was the contractual term you weren't happy with, by the way?
