Help! Locked out of my own network. Security passphrase

Hey all
I am using the linksys router. I was on the network page http://198.168.1.1 - I then changed the name of the network and left the WEP on. Now all 3 laptops cannot get onto the network.
Basicly I know what the main letter (passphrase?) was that you use to generate the security key which is 10-26 LETTERS long with 0-9 and a-f
Basicly, i would go onto 192.168.1.1 enter the passphrase and it would generate 3 of these codes to enter into the network setup to allow access to the computers onto the network but now they are all locked out. Does anyone know a website which will generate the codes from the passphrase??
thanks

Haven't the foggiest of what you're on about.....
Why don't you just generate a new code?
Does the Linksys support WPA?
WEP is rubbish. You password can be hacked in minutes.

If all you did was change the network name (SSID) on the router and it's still broadcasting the SSID then the laptops should see the network in View Available Wireless Networks and should be able to connect to it.0

Agree with Chippy, look for the New SSID network name and connect to that, enter the wep encryption key and you should then be able to gain access to the router. You won't be able to access the rotuer until you have connected with the WEP key. However, you can connect to it without the WEP key if you connect with a cable rather than wirelessly

I'm glad someone else understood. I shouldn't have replied when I was so tired.
