Noleggiare car rental - charged for inexistent damage

Hi! I came back two weeks ago from Sardinia and unfortunately car rental Noleggiare did their best efforts to steal money from me on non-existing damage. Unfortunately I've booked a car with Ryanair and didn't check them in the Internet that it's a very fraudulent company. They were very suspicious to me from the very beginning I landed on Sardinia. They gave me damage report before I rent the car with about 15 damages in Italian and showed on small draft while I struggled to find dozens of them!
Making long story short - I informed my Credit Card provider about it. They promised to send me a paperwork to dispute on this transaction. I have a photos made before rental so I'm able to prove that I gave back car in the same condition. After I sent them photos and told that I informed Police about this fraud they... lower the damage invoice for 70%. Absolutely disgusting. This scam lasts for at least 2 years. Just check them on Trustpilot. Italian police obviously has done nothing!
I have excess insurance but I would rather not use it before my credit card provider make a decision to cancel this transaction which I can't be sure for 100%. All they want is to take money from customers or insurance companies and I don't want to take part in this scam activity.
What should be my next step? What do you think?
