Victim of Fraud CIFAS

I am on the CIFAS register category 2 and I have checked my credit report online and I wanted to know some clarification.
Someone tried to open an account at Lloyds under my name which the bank spotted straight away and stopped and put me on the register.
Finally my report has been updated and it states account open and closed with no issue. So can I ask for this record to be deleted or will it remain on my account?

It will remain as a warning to other credit providers to check your details carefully on future applications as you have been a victim of fraud. This is a good thing working in your favour and will not count against you.0 -
But the account is not of OP's doing so should be removed. The random opening and closing of accounts could count against you so it should be removed. The CIFAS marker is the warning to double check before authorising new accounts.0

The Cifas record will automatically remove after 13 months.0
