Excel has a "wizard" to show tables of data as all sorts of graphs. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Hi Lexi, the replies above are right, IF you have Excel. Not all machines come with Excel, or Office. Very often it is just Microsoft Works. There is a spreadsheet package in that which is ok...
If you do have excel then the above comments are great. If not then take a look at https://www.openoffice.org it is a free alternative to Microsoft Office. Very good. Imo not quite as good as Microsoft Office, but it does the job!
Post back if you need some more guidance

If you want to use Excel rather than OpenOffice and you don't have it, as you are a student, you can get the full package, quite cheaply from Microsoft.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101674081033.aspx
And there is a 60-day free trial from that link, which may help you out further!
Also you might be able to get a bargain for an older version, 2000 or 2003 on eBay, but make sure it's legit!0 -
Another point is, If you don't have Excel and would like it you can get it really cheap if you have a .ac.uk address. You say you are an oldie..so i dont know where you are doing this course..but if they provide you with an address it might be something you could take adavantage of : http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/

thanx for the replies! I havent got excel on my pc just MW, so looks like i am going to have problems! After my freq tables i have to do a graph. yep ok, but the graphs are supposed to resemble a stretched out 's' & well mine doesnt!! I think i will possibly try & get a cheap copy from ebay & go from there. I am studying my maths GCSE at a school 1 day per week so wont get any student help, only from the teacher. Oh well the good thing about coursework is we can show the work before submitting it so i am still in with a chance! Thanx again.0
