Just a quick question. I applied for a credit card back in August and was approved for it. I know this is considered a hard search/inquiry.
When will it be removed from my credit file or at least increase my credit score?
After I applied for it my credit score took a dip. And loans that I was "pre-approved" for were removed. I am using my credit card and paying them off as soon as I receive my statement.

Searches last for 6 months, but a single search is of no concern. The account will remain until 6 years from closure or default.
Your credit score will probably drop when it comes off as it will be a change to your file but that's ok. It's not used for lending or seen by anyone but you.0 -
I bought something expensive with a CC and paid for it in full when the statement arrived and my "SCORE" plummeted.
