Hi All,
I have received a PCN, but its a bit of an unusual scenario hence the post.
So on 05/10 I received a PCN for parking in a yellow zig zag area in an airport. I had no choice to park here as there was ZERO spaces, even though I had pre paid, and there was no one working there to speak to!!!
So I appealed via the company website on 12/10. Today - 02/11, I have only just received a response.
The response (paraphrased) says ....
Responsibility of charge lies with the driver.
To process your appeal we need Full name of the driver
Or pay the PCN.
In this case what should I do? Oh and as a gesture of good will I can pay the reduced £60!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread before starting a new thread
#4 there covers advice on the debt collector stage which you now look to be in
(See #1 there on why after an initial appeal to IPC companies you ignore everything except a LBCCA or court correspondence)0 -
These ''not a PCN'' fake notices on the windscreen (if it was one in a red envelope) are specifically covered in the Q&A in the NEWBIES thread. Please read it. Not ''unusual''. You were not meant to appeal a thing like that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
