Parking Charge Claim Dismissed by County Court

Hi All


I recently attended County Court regarding a parking ticket I received in July 2017 whilst parked at Premier Inn car park. I refused to pay the fine and received a County Court Summons. In the summons I was advised that both parties should try and mediate which would be held via a telephone meeting. However, as I'm deaf mediation doesn't offer reasonable adjustment so deaf people can take part, so the only avenue open to me was to fight my case in court.


I won my case, and I'd love to share how I did this and what the judge said with everyone on the parking ticket forum, but I don't want to do this via an open forum as I'm aware that the parking companies read these forums and I don't want to make it easy for them.


Is there anyone who runs the forums that I can email in privately so I can share the details, which can then be shared privately with everyone else.

I do not think that telling us how you beat a scammer will "make it easy for them", rather the reverse, please tell all.

Why are you playing up to the stereotypes that deaf people shout? (There was no need for large, bold font in your post).

As said above, you've been to court and won so there's Jeff All the parking company can do about it - please gives us the info, as we always like to read about successes. Even including the case reference is no problem AFTER the court process has completed.

Well done on your win and thank you for wanting to share your experience I wouldn't worry too much about the PPC,s viewing the forum and I don't think you will 'make it easy for them' if anything it will hopefully be painful reading for them and force them to clean up their act!!! (they will do probably clean up their act about the same time I receive my Knighthood )


The regulars like details of wins so hang fire and see what they say but as I said I'm sure there will be no problem with you posting all the great details.

Post up the details if it will help others, otherwise your post will disappear, and the forum owners will not share your private emails anyway.
