Paid for the wrong car on Indigo Account

Hi - apologies, but I have tried multiple searches and cannot find one for my issue.

I recently paid for parking at Haywards Heath train station with my online Indigo Account. Up until recently, i had two cars on it and one was set to default. I logged in and paid.

I received a “PCN” for failing to display a vaild ticket. The PCN came to my wife as its her car, so I wrote to them to explain the situation and that the wrong registration number was selected. But i have paid. I went on to say that they could have seen from a search with their ANPR that I had two cars on my account, etc, etc, but they declined.

I have since asked them for a Subject Access Request under GDPR (I am a GDPR practitioner) and have just got the information back.

So, as i have paid and it was a genuine mistake, can they still enforce a fine? It has happened before to me at Lewes train station and it was reversed but i cant find the evidence.

Help :)

Third Indigo thread today. Just ignore it.
  • Ps. I feel that having a drop down menu to select your car often will make people make mistakes, instead of having a box that will not allow you to move on until you have put in the vehicle number. It capitalises on people mistakes.

But they can't capitalise on it. Ignore them as it's Indigo at a railway (a letter-sending scam only).

How do we know this? Because we've seen a copy of Indigo's contract that stops short of letting them start any court action, and they can't anyway because they called the fake fine a 'penalty' which can only be progressed in a Magistrates' court.

I've already typed too much - we don't need or have time for repeated, all the same, Indigo threads and nor do you! Read the NEWBIES thread FAQs and in particular, the link about Indigo railways fake PCNs.

Ignore. It times out in 6 months, scam over.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Indeed.

That is exactly what this whole parking industry is all about.
