Bw legal 1st letter for client Britannia Parking

Hi,
Firstly reading through previous threads I understand how frustrated long term members are with us ‘newbies’ seeking advise, but please understand as a newbie how confusing using the site maybe. I have gone through so many previous posts trying to source the correct movements on which I should take on how to proceed. Maybe it’s just me being blonde so I sincerely apologise in advance.
I received a letter today from Bw legal stating I failed to display a valid P&D ticket back in December 2015. Saying I owe £130, £70 for the PCN and an initial £60 for legal costs. My dilemma here is I never received a PCN and have had no correspondence from Britannia Parking at all this letter is the first I knew about any of this. If the vehicle was parked in their car park I genuinely don’t remember.
Please could someone advise on what to do or add a link to exactly where I should go to find the information.
My apologies again to you all.

BWLegal are adding on fake fees .. £60 which is not allowed.
It's NOT legal costs, it is a fake charge passed on by debt collectors

Is this letter a "letter before claim" giving you 30 days to respond ?

No dilemma, send BRITANNIA* a SAR like you will have read about on all the other BW Legal LBC threads recently.

*NOT to BW Legal. Send the SAR online or by email to Britannia's DPO (contact will be in their Privacy page of their website).

    :)

  • Hi,
Thank you so much for responding firstly. It doesn’t really seem to state what it is. It does say that I have failed to make payment or raise an appeal within 28 days from the date of the PCN and they require payment in full with in 16 days. If I fail to do so or provide reasons for non-payment they will seek their clients instructions to commence legal proceedings.
  • Thank you Coupon-mad I have seen how helpful you have been on previous posts. So to be a pain but can I ask what a SAR is. Sorry to seem so blonde.

    SAR = Subject Access Request
  • Hi,
Thank you. Is it a form I send them? If so can this be found online?
    Many thanks
  • I have sent a SAR to Britannia as advised can you please advise what will happen from here?

You need to read other Britannia BW Legal threads. Search the forum for those words.

These cases are won at court stage and the NEWBIES thread tells you about that in the second post, and that we help ordinary people win 99% of cases.

That's the long term situation, and you can defend and win so read the sticky thread.
