My laptop has the same GPU as yours; yours has a newer i7 CPU than mine (which is an i7-2670QM).

I recently fitted an SSD and did a fresh install of Windows 10 ... now it flies.

There's really no need to buy a new laptop - yours has plenty mileage left in it with an SSD and a fresh Windows install. You can even repurpose the existing 1TB HDD for additional storage, either by fitting it into an external USB caddy or getting an HDD caddy to replace the DVD drive.

If you really wanted a new laptop and tbh I don't see a need considering what you can do with yours with a bit of an upgrade, I'd get a much cheaper, workhorse business laptop which you can dock and spend some money on a bigger monitor.

I search the net updated to windows 10 , play seek and find games , cards ,emails , office , fb, music, messenger .it is now around 6 years old just wanted a new model . It sits on my table does not move so could have desktop

It's 4.5 years old. Don't wish your life away.

SSD fitting will do it, unless you are playing more demanding games.

    What game are you playing?

I would recommend you go for desktop if want proper gaming experience.

Even you want a laptop, if you are not moving it, it may better to get 15" with full hd screen and get additional 4k bigger monitor.
