That does not answer the questions asked. You said that they paid as per their contracts, so if that's what the contacts say, how come yours says something different? You mention "a particular client" going against the contract - is it this client who told you to work more hours, because if they did, what authority did they have to contact your hours?

There is something not entirely clear in alk this, and that's setting aside the fact that you didn't notice a massive underpayment of several hours per week for a very long time.
