Considering that my washing machine & tumble dryer both have 10 year parts warranty cover is there insurance cover for labour only? I have used domestic and general previously, but how would I go about claiming for labour costs to repair both machines if they are more than two years old?

Most companies require the machine to be inspected by and the repairs carried out by their own engineer. You would have to pay for this which could easily be well in excess of £100 each time.

The ten year parts guarantee is worthless, they charge the same price with or without it.
