Paying to return duplicated order
Comments
-
It shouldn't cost £8 to return it, for that price you could send it special delivery but there is no need to use that service for such a low value parcel. Just send it 1st or 2nd class with proof of posting and you will be covered for up to £20 which is adequate for the £18 item. It's only going to be classed as a large letter or small parcel if it was small enough to fit through your letterbox.
It has to go back to Ireland so it is international also I cant get the parcel flat enough for the 2.5cm limit.0 -

Then you have your evidence.
Send them a polite, strong, to the point letter stating it was their fault the order was duplicated, therefore their responsibility to absorb all costs in getting it returned.
Name the company - you will get much more targeted advice.0
