Hi
I am Sick off Zone Alarm, getting the blue screen of death from it. All Updates done, patches, XP up to date, yar dee dar dee dar.... so don't convince me to try and fix it please (was that cheeky? Opps sorry)
Can anyone recommend another Firewall (Freeware please) that I can use with XP. I want it to do the same as ZoneAlarm in the sense that it asks you for permission for each piece of software that tries to access the Interent. With a 'remember setting' type option.
Thank you so much for your time in advance.

Second vote for comodo. Light on resources0

Agree with Corretto post....
Been using comodo for some time and is excellent free program. Initially it is a bit 'intrusive' while it is 'learning' but after that just runs with no problems at all.0 -
I use Sygate free personal firewall and once setup I hardly notice it is there unless something tries to get through.0

comodo/sygate both ok, remembe firewall is not like anti virus needing daily updates, avg antiviris is free and good,grisoft.com....good list for freeware is filehippo.com.....no need to buy,,,,zee0
