    Of course they would! Otherwise why else would you push this scheme onto landlords.

    But then again, you hope that an agent as large as Haart would have checked all the legal stuff on this?

    Foxtons lost a massive case a few years back. Biggest agents in London.


    Aren't Haart franchised anyway?

    One of my sons rented a house via a huge agent, awards etc etc.. They couldn't even issue a valid s21.... nor realise the problem when it was pointed out. Took three goes....



    To be an agent requires no training, no qualifications, no criminal record check. You could be dealing with a 18yr-old school leaver 2 days into the job (nothing wrong with school leaver, we've all been there...

    You're right!
    Past experiences with estate agents has been fairly rubbish. However, was hoping for a better experience this time round.
    Lettings market is quiet at the moment.
