Do we need public liability insurance?

We are currently in the process of renewing our home insurance and it has just dawned on us that we may need public liability insurance.
We are on a private driveway which we share with two of our neighbours. We own the driveway and they have access rights over it.
If, for example, it was icy one morning and someone slipped on the driveway and injured themselves would we be liable?
TIA

This is normal cover you get with home insurance
Check your policy wording now to confirm it is already covered0 -
It should be included in your home insurance as standard so double check. Ideally at least 2 million. Whether or not you a liable will be defined by negligence. Can blame be apportion to you or did you contribute to the injury? If so you will need public liability.
Its not only the injury but making sure you have legal costs within the liability cover to defend a claim if needed.0
