???? I suspect (just a guess) that you/they mean that a chemical damp proof treatment was injected into the walls?

or perhaps given it's a basement perhaps the walls were 'tanked'?

I'd ask and find out exactly what was done if I were you.......


If the cause of the damp (external ground level, render) was not identified and fixed, a chemcal dpc would have been a pointless and expensive excercise..........

I have no idea what exactly was done, they just indicated a damp proof course. I will check things out further.
