Any good free tools or sites that allows multiple paged documents with Ocr functionality?
I've looked through Google but can only find subscription models.

I've used this for small scale OCR...

However, getting a well-formed spreadsheet at the end of the process is still likely to require a fair amount of manual effort.

Google Docs online will open a pdf (effectively OCR scanning it) and let you save it in a editable format. I don't know if their online spreadsheet will do the same? Can't see it will be very useful as it won't "see" the formulas etc. Depends on what you are trying to achieve....

If you have a recent version of MS Word then open pdf in Word, select all, copy, paste into Excel.

Thought the same PDF to EXCEL, ones a document with defined pages and the other a spreadsheet. Will it actually convert to a format you can use?

Tried this but word opened it as an image.
Its a scanned copy, not an original pdf copy. The converter requires ocr.

If your content only exists as an image (which a PDF can contain) then, yes, OCR is required.

The link I previously provided definitely works.

    Here are a couple more...
