Freezer shelves for Uni student

When my son was at university, in his halls of residence they each had a shelf in the fridge. There was complaints one weekend when a whole salmon on one shelf had dripped into the parmesan on the shelf below.DigForVictory wrote: »Short term, bags for life with names.
If the weather remains reliably cold, dangle said bags from windows. (At our Uni this caused immediate attention from Estates, and I would forecast shelves appearing on the condition bags disappear.)0 -
When DD was at uni she phoned me from the supermarket one evening to say that whole salmon were half price and she and her friend were thinking about buying one between them but she just wanted to check if it would freeze.I told her that it would freeze but to cut it up first. They went back to the fish counter only to find that the price had been halved again as it was near closing time so they bought a salmon each.
I was very proud of her and just wished that I'd been there to buy one for myself.0 -
