Gaffer tape (or duct/duck tape).

Its waterproof (providing you adhere to a dry surface), i use it on my cracked shower base and it works a treat.

How about silicone sealant? Should work better than tape depending on the hole

Gorilla has a tough plastic style with a sticky adhesive, seems to hold up well over time, although I don't yet have any really old stuff to test. I found cloth type duct tape breaks up over time.

I dont think it will last. I have used this on polycarbonate 2 years ago and its fine

Its one of best grab adhesives I have used make sure you get transulent if you do

If its only a temp fix then use foil tape, if you apply it to a clean surface it sticks and is unaffected by temperature and inclement weather.

I've used this stuff before on my greenhouses and on a blown glazing unit. Works a treat and looks better than foil or gaffa
