Private parking County court claim issued with misspelt name

Hi All,
I need a little advice.
I have received a County court claim (CCC) letter from a private parking company called CPM. The CCC has been put together by Gladstones solicitors.
I have already submitted an acknowledgement of service however due to a holiday have only now a few days to file my defence.
I noticed that the on CCC letter my name is spelt slightly wrong for example by one letter - Joe Bloggs Would be Jje Bloggs.
As I understand the court process is all about the details - so surely this is enough to use as an initial defence?
My past experience with Gladstones and CPM is that they will just hope I post no defence at all to try and force a default CCJ and then leave the case to change to stayed position (as with a previous case from the same two companies).
Any advice would be greatly received.
TIA

You haven't had a CCJ, that would mean it's already been to court and you lost.0
-
Do you mean that you have received a Letter of Claim?
If so, please correct your title and the content of the thread as the way you have presented things it implies you have already lost in court and been issued with a CCJ.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
You have Claim Form
CCJ means a JUDGEMENT has been made. Clearly, that hasnt happened
Edit your thread title
Pretty sure wrong name wont help.0 -
OK, OK my apologies all edited to reflect what has been mentioned.
Does anybody have any advice on the case?0 -
Well, given we know nothing about it, not really. Just the usual - head to post 2 of the newbies thread and get reading.0

What is the Date of Issue on your Claim Form?
Please post the exact contents of the Particulars of Claim box on your Claim Form.0 -

How would you use it as a defence...simply return the letter saying No one of that name known here....but do your research first!!!0 -
Given minor errors can be corrected in court an obvious typo would be of no benefit at all to a defence.0

How is your name spelt on the V5c (AKA the Log Book) for the vehicle?0
