Heating on low all permanently

Hi
Just wandering if this is a viable option, and if its something other people do?
We have moved into a house we are renting and have a lot of problems with condensation on the windows.
I have tried opening windows in the morning, damp tramps etc. I think part of the problem is there is no wall thermostat so we have been putting the heating on for a couple hours at night on full blast (gas central heating).
Last night I decided to leave on low all night, the condensation problem is a lot better but obviously concerned this is going to be an expensive way of getting through winter.
Would really appreciate any suggestions.

Although it's a laudable act, I suspect filling your home with soggy hobos is only adding to your problems.

I'd give them a hot meal and ask them to leave...

Condensation on windows occurs when warm moist air contacts colder windows; particularly single glazed windows. To a greater or lesser extent it happens in most houses.
