Letter before claim

Hi there,
I have received a Letter of Claim from Gladstone solicitors on behalf of UK Car Park Management Limited, saying they have been instructed to commence legal action in the form of issuing a claim against me in the Court if the outstanding fine is not paid in full. I have received previous correspondence from debt recovery agencies and ignored them. I have ready all the newbie threads and lots of other posts. The letter from them appears to have all the information on. I am wanting to send a response in my defense but wanted someone to look at the letter I have received from them to see if there is anything missing. Would anyone be able to do that? I am not too sure what to from this point, I can't really afford it the ridiculous sum they are asking for.
The car park which I initially parked in was a private car park, however, the exit which I left from had no clear signage. However, this exit was a broken barrier.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you

My point is that you have to be precise about terminology and who said what at this stage. Paraphrasing or using your own interpretation won't work when it gets all legal.wanted someone to look at the letter I have received from them to see if there is anything missing.
Then post a draft of your response for critique before sending it back to them.0 -
I was attempting to reply to the letter before claim online, however, there was no option for me to do so on the Gladstones website. It has now gone past the deadline which was given to respond not too sure of my options now?0
