Combi boiler pressure

hello,
I have noticed that the pressure on my boiler without any central heating on sits at around 1.5 (perfect according to my manual)
When the heating is turned on the pressure drops to 1 / 1.1 and sits at that pressure until the heating to switched off.
I have a slight concern as i would always expect the pressure to go up in this instance?? (im no expert) The boiler is just over 2 years old and i havent had to refill it and it doesn't seem to be losing pressure overall.
Its a potterton Promax combi boiler if that helps at all..
Kind Regards

Is it? Last time my boiler was serviced, the engineer told me that the pressure will go up slightly when the boiler is on for heating?southcoastrgi wrote: »Sounds fine to me0 -
Perhaps it's air in the system which becomes compressed when the pump starts, try bleeding the radiators and see if that helps.0

It depends which side of the pump the pressure gauge is, if you look at it when it first starts up I bet the gauge drops slightlyI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
